Writing powerful custom functions with LET and LAMBDA

About the session

Have you ever thought 'I wish Excel had a function for this'? One of the most versatile and powerful additions to Excel in recent years is the LAMBDA function, which makes it easy to write your own functions. These can be anything from little tweaks to existing functions up to advanced multi-step functions written from scratch.

This session will show you how to write your first custom function (it’s easier than you think!), and give you a framework for building more advanced functions for whatever you need to get done.

You will learn:

• How to write a custom function in Excel (without VBA) and share it.
• How to write multi-step formulas with LET, while maintaining auditability.
• How to combine LET and LAMBDA to make complex multi-step functions that are easy to use.
