Ian Bennett

Ian Bennett leads PwC's Deals Modelling team in Australia and Globally. With over 20 years as a professional financial modeller, he has built and reviewed the models that have supported major transactions, infrastructure projects, and BAU forecasting and reporting in Australia and the UK. Ian is proud to be in the inaugural cohort of FMI's Master of Financial Modelling (MFM), and is currently sitting on the Advisory Board for the Financial Modelling Institute, having previously been on the Advisory Board for the financial modelling FAST Standard. He was also lead author for the publicly available PwC's Global Financial Modelling Guidelines, and has a significant back catalogue of published financial modelling articles, including many for Acuity Magazine by CAANZ. Furthermore, Ian has a passion for DI&W and is the founder and Co-Chair of PwC and Pride in Diversity's Executive LGBTQ+ Ally Forum, as well as being the wellbeing lead for PwC's Financial Advisory business. He was until recently on the Board of the amazing Sydney Philharmonia Choirs.








