Gary Knott

Gary is an Excel and Power Query / BI expert. He has over 25 years’ experience, many at the Big 4 firm Deloitte, and since 2015 as a freelancing modeller, analyst, and trainer. In 2021 he published a book “Avoid Excel Horror Stories” explaining how to use best practices and other tips and tricks to make spreadsheets both more reliable, but also flexible and user-friendly. He supports many clients with modelling and training services and continues to be an evangelist for best practices. He is a keen fan of shortcuts, Power Query, and dynamic arrays. His hobbies include dancing and samba drumming.








