Sheetcast shines at the Global Excel Summit 2025

At February’s Global Excel Summit, we were delighted to welcome our Lead Sponsor, Sheetcast, back to London for a second successive year.

Once again, several members from the Canada-based team made the 4,000-mile journey across the Atlantic to join us in the heart of the Big Smoke.

They included Product Ambassador Catherine Mondragon, Analyst & Advocate Celia Alves, and Project Manager Kevin Hill.

Let's take a look back at some of the best memories of their trip!

From Edmonton to London

When you come from such a long way to arguably the most famous city in the world, it only makes sense to explore the eateries and do a bit of sightseeing. So they did…

Amidst all the fun they had, the three came with a core mission: to spread the word about the awesomeness of Sheetcast.

In case you didn’t already know, Sheetcast is the home of a patented add-in that makes it easy to turn Excel spreadsheets into powerful web applications, with no technical skills required.

You can build a multitude of solutions, from financial forecasting apps to inventory management systems to online quoting systems to client and customer portals.

The possibilities are endless, and only your imagination can hinder you!

With that said, let’s now move on to their involvement in the Summit after arriving at the Soho Place Theatre.

Celia impresses on Main Stage

On the opening day, Celia Alves delivered an insightful session emphasising the importance of being able to deliver Excel-based solutions to the web, whether it's to satisfy internal or external needs.

She demonstrated how easy Sheetcast makes this thanks to its range of available tools. Worksheets were quite literally transformed into usable web apps in minutes!

Diving deeper into Sheetcast

Joining remotely was Vice President of Sales Jason Clarke, who featured along with Celia in the online Breakout Rooms. They showed off more cool ways to use Sheetcast, highlighting how versatile it truly is.

Networking Area sparks curiosity

The in-person Networking Area was a place for meeting and mingling, and discovering different tools and services offered by a range of companies.

The Sheetcast stall proved popular, with many attendees eager to chat to the team and learn how the product could benefit them. They were definitely wowed!

By no means were the online audience left out of this, with the virtual alternative also proving lively, as many took the opportunity to sit down and chat on Sheetcast's very own 'sofas'!

Lots of in-person footage was captured, with many famous names from the Excel world gravitating to the Sheetcast zone to offer their thoughts on the Summit.
