Global Excel Summit and Sheetcast agree on another partnership deal
The Global Excel Summit is delighted to sign a three-year Lead Sponsor partnership with Sheetcast, expanding on the existing relationship to continue to help influence the growth and development of the Excel industry globally.
This deal is on top of the one sealed in early 2023, which was also a three-year agreement for the Canada-based company to be Brand Partner.
That has already proved fruitful, with the pair having worked closely to deliver long-lasting value to those across the Excel industry.
Sheetcast is home to an innovative patented add-in, which allows users to transform their Excel spreadsheets into powerful, custom web applications — using their inherent skills and knowledge. This makes it possible for users to enhance their workflows and extend the functionality of Excel without the need for highly specialised training or expertise.
Timesheet apps, financial forecasting apps, online quoting systems, and customer portals are just a few examples of what's possible to build with the platform.
“At the heart of Sheetcast, we’re serious about helping users go beyond Excel’s full potential to unlock even greater possibilities. It’s like Scotty telling captain Kirk he can’t break the laws of physics (but then he does) — Sheetcast is here to show Excel users that, with the right tools, you can go beyond known paradigms.
"Not only are we focusing our energy and resources on creating powerful Excel tools to achieve that, but we’re also committed to supporting the Excel community and building meaningful, value-driven relationships. Through our partnership with the Global Excel Summit, we aim to empower users and inspire growth within this vibrant community.”
— Jason Clarke (Vice President of Sales at Sheetcast)
“Sheetcast has been a part of the Global Excel Summit family for several years now. Their passion and dedication towards innovation within the industry has been a meeting point for our brands. One of the many values we share is the commitment towards empowering our industry and aiding the growth of our community. I am confident that now, as we enter this new phase of partnership, we will achieve great things together. We will be an unstoppable force in the flourishing world of Excel.”
— Elena Lalovska (Partner at Global Excel Summit)
Sheetcast is no stranger to the annual Global Excel Summit conference, having participated in the previous three. The 2024 edition saw the team's Alex Martin and Catherine Mondragon make the lengthy trans-Atlantic trip to arrive in London for the first-ever in-person offering.
Martin's presentation on the Main Stage explored the world of Excel monetisation and how people can identify opportunities to commercialise their spreadsheets.
Several online-only sessions were also held involving other team members. Jason Clarke and Brett Baker demoed a business and contacts directory app, while Clarke and Martin showed how to convert three spreadsheets into web apps in just 15 minutes.
Looking forward, Sheetcast will enjoy prominent visibility before, during, and after the Global Excel Summit 2025, which takes place 4–6 February.
Attendees will not only be able to watch Sheetcast's sessions, but they will also have the opportunity to meet them in person to understand how the tool can enhance productivity and efficiency at their companies.
With the new relationship paving the way for enhanced collaborative opportunities, future announcements will be made in the coming time.
Meanwhile, those interested in purchasing tickets for the Global Excel Summit 2025 can take advantage of the limited Early Bird period to benefit from a 30% discount.
