I can't tell you how much I've learned from the in-person event and the virtual masterclasses this year alone. Game-changing.

Global Excel Summit means you can pick one person in the room, at random, and start babbling about Excel - without the risk of being pepper sprayed. How cool is that?!

The Soho Place Theatre in London was grand and spectacular. But this was not the Oscars, it was the Global Excel Summit. People travelled from all over the world to learn, exchange ideas, and socialise.

The event was superb! From the speakers to the opportunities to meet other people with the same interests as you. It really is a fantastic event for anyone who loves Excel, and I would highly recommend attending.

Well I did a thing....for the third year in a row! The Global Excel Summit brings together hundreds of data, finance and accountancy specialists from all over the world, who use Microsoft Excel in some capacity and this year was no different. With a sprawling community of 55 countries and nations representing and waving the Excel flag, the summit showed off the best and brightest of Excel uses and amazing tricks. But that's not all.....The entire shindig was put together to celebrate everything Excel and let's just say that the vibe was off the charts.

I've been wanting to attend for longer than I care to admit - it exceeded every expectation I had. Every speaker showed up fully - sharp, prepared, and genuinely passionate about what they shared. My heart is full of joy and my brain is buzzing with new ideas on how to put everything we shared into practice.

Had an amazing time in London. It’s not every day that you get to connect with such inspiring individuals who are so passionate and driven. The energy, the conversations, and the shared experiences made it truly unforgettable. Looking forward to 2026!

Two intense and inspiring days, organised flawlessly. The sessions were extremely insightful and I’m coming back with new ideas, renewed energy… and the confirmation that the greatest value of these events lies in the relationships we build.

Meeting some of the biggest names in financial modelling and data analytics, hearing their insights firsthand, and learning modern practices that can elevate the way we build models was truly inspiring.

The energy of the attendees was incredible, and the sessions were each better than the last. I’m returning with my luggage full of a python in Excel "cloud" of knowledge about Excel and Python, and my batteries fully charged!

Thank you to the GES team for a fantastic event. It struck that perfect balance of being both educational and genuinely entertaining, with plenty of laughs alongside the insights, tips, and real food for thought.

Stunning! It was great to have an opportunity to mingle with so many of my Excel heroes as well as with other participants from all over the world who just love Excel.

The level of learning and potential to expand on knowledge was second-to-none! Wide variety of topics and knowledge building and amazing speakers and hosts!

I enjoyed the hands-on approach and the way complex topics were explained so simply. Everything was very well organized and engaging.

I was able to turn my blah capabilities statement into something I am happy to share! I could go on and on about the many design and data visualization lessons I’ve learned from Ann. Instead, I’ll end by saying that books and blogs are excellent resources. I have several books and subscribed to many blogs. However, they do not compare to live and on-demand instruction of Ann K. Emery.

Mark explains everything really well with lots of great examples to start automating tasks, and even includes a whole section on Power Automate.

Mark was an excellent teacher! The way he breaks things down into easily understandable pieces made it easy to follow along with and apply the new concepts and skills in the class (Reporting & Analysis Blueprint, Dynamic Array Formulas, and VBA). Because of that I can more easily apply what I've learned here to save me hundreds of hours of manual and repetitive work at my job. Thank you Mark!

The course files were meticulously prepared and the instructions were crystal clear. I'm looking forward to whatever Mark is cooking up next!
