Global Excel Summit 2023 poised for February

Thousands expected to attend Excel’s annual showpiece event

The third edition of the Global Excel Summit (GES), organised by DATEL Productions Ltd, will take place on 6–8 February 2023.

The virtual event aims to educate and inspire professionals, corporate teams, and students about Microsoft Excel and propel them to greater heights in the workplace or academic setting. 

This year’s theme is Excel Beyond Expectation, celebrating the program’s versatility and widespread use across different industries.

Over 30 speakers worldwide will spread their wealth of knowledge as they deliver the sessions, including Microsoft MVPs, certified experts, trainers, and social media sensations.

Event ambassador Leila Gharani is one of those, known for her highly successful YouTube channel with a myriad of Excel-related content. She has been influential in promoting the summit to the widest possible audience. 

Six tracks feature across the three days focusing on a particular area. Five of these form the Main Stage offering, with the other held in the Lounge, which concentrates on Microsoft exam preparation and the latest tools and innovations.

Five times Microsoft MVP Leila Gharani will present one of the keynotes on the opening day as part of the Tech & Innovation track. Attendees will also enjoy product demos from software developers, robust panel discussions, and competitive expert battles.

Day two will host the Finance & Accounting and Data Visualisation & Analytics tracks, delving into topics like financial modelling, dashboards, and how to present data effectively.

On the final day, the Power Stack track will demonstrate the benefits of Power Query, Power Pivot, and Power BI. This is followed by Formulas & Automation, where attendees discover lesser-known time-saving Excel practices that boost their workflows. 

In addition, six exclusive Masterclass sessions from leading figures stretch beyond the regular ones and dive deeper into Excel’s advanced functionality, covering a range of industry-relevant topics.

Some sessions will run simultaneously, but attendees can switch between them thanks to the virtual event platform Hopin, which is the engine behind the immersive experience.

The Global Excel Summit is a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) accredited event, justifying its premium status and means attendees can claim points to add to their CPD records. Research conducted by the Standards Office has found that it increases employment prospects by up to 10% when included in a CV.

The FREE ticket entitles unpaid access to all day one Main Stage sessions, the company showroom, and the lounge area.
